About Jeff

Hi, thanks for stopping by. I write jokes and dole out music trivia on Bluesky, and I co-host the “Junk Miles with Chip & Jeff” comedy podcast with my friend Chip. I like to run on trails when I am not online staring at screens.

Speaking of, I started Philly Trail Runners! Do you love running on the Wissahickon, Schuylkill River, Pennypack, Fairmount, and other awesome trails in the Greater Philadelphia area? If so, join us and discover new places to explore and connect with other runners who also love dodging roots and rocks and splashing through streams.

Let’s see what else… I created the Fraud Street Run, a charity fun run that raised over $70,000 for Philabundance in 2020 and 2021. We raised an additional $1,905 with our Fraud Street Loop in April of 2025.

I also enjoy running in races and events (geez, this guy talks about running a lot!) because they provide food and drinks at aid stations, and I hate carrying that stuff while running.

Since 2009, I’ve completed 40 long-distance runs:

28 marathons
One 100K trail race
Four 50-mile ultras
One 60K looped race
Six 50K trail races

In addition to the fun stuff mentioned above, I design, build, and manage websites so I can pay the bills I keep finding in my mailbox.

I am a vegetarian and lover of all animals (even rats and spiders).

Lastly, I got the domain “Go Jeff Go” way back in 1998. One of my favorite bands, Samiam, had a website called “Go Sam Go” and I thought that was pretty rad.
